Beat The Streets program.

The Beat the Streets USA Program added hundreds of new wrestling programs in 18 cities that began in 2004.The concept began in the 1970’s in Chicago, when Ken Kraft Northwestern partnered with the Mayor Daley Club & named it Beat the Streets. It disbanded a few years later.

Years later in 2009, we began a Beat the Streets USA Program Nationwide partnering with USA Wrestling.

We added Beat the Streets- Los Angeles & Philadelphia in year 1.

Today, it has grown into18 cities introducing wrestling to thousands of boys and girls in the middle & high schools

The NYCDOE recently began an historic program by creating 28 high schools for girls wrestling.

They participate in their spring season wrestling freestyle.

Each city is a IRS nonprofit and owns its programs…they manage themselves. Most of donations goes to purchasing wrestling mats and wrestling gear.
